Абстракт	The main anthropogenic factors affecting the ecosystem of the Karkinitsky Gulf in the last 70 years are considered. It is established that the ecosystem of the eastern part of the Karkinit Bay is currently unstable and depends on human activity. Taking into account the peculiarity of this area and the large-scale anthropogenic impact on it, special attention should be paid to the preservation of the natural habitat conditions of valuable species of hydrobionts. The main factors that led to the radical restructuring of the ichthyofauna of the eastern part of the Karkinitsky Gulf are the functioning and then the termination of the North Crimean Canal, as well as the destruction of the Bakal Spit due to a violation of the sand extraction technology. In addition, intensive fishing of prawn Palaemon adspersus in the eastern part of the gulf causes damage to juvenile commercial fish species (Scophthalmidae, Mugilidae), as well as species listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Crimea (seahorse, broadnosed pipefish, trout).
