Абстракт | Studies of the composition of carotenoids in the Black Sea
bivalve mollusks Mytilus galoprovincialis, Crassostrea gigas, Anadara kagoshimensis, Cerastoderma glaucum, Chamelea gallina, Polititapes aureus and their closely
related species showed changes depending on their habitats in the
world ocean. The most obvious differences were noted between the
Black Sea mollusks and their species counterparts in other regions
of the world ocean. The clams C. glaucum, Ch. gallina and P.
aureus, which share the same ecotope, showed both species-specific features
in the accumulation of carotenoids and significant differences between
carotenoids compared to their species counterparts from other regions
of the world ocean. The noted changes only concerned the accumulation
of carotenoids from food or a reduction in the number of carotenoid
metabolic pathways assigned to these species in the scientific publications.
In the Black Sea mollusks, no new carotenoid metabolic reactions
and pathways have yet been found. Ключевые слова: bivalve mollusks, carotenoids, carotenoid transformation pathways, Black Sea |
